I WAS A TINY TOT
SLEEPING MY HANDS CURLED
I USED TO PLAY WHOLE NIGHT
AND SLEEP IN THE DAY WITH DELIGHT

I USED TO TALK TO MY DOLLS
AND RIDE ON CAR WHICH PAPA USED TO STROLL
WOULD DEMAND TO HEAR THE SAME STORY EVERYDAY
WHAT A GREAT TIME OF FUN AND GAY

What is God?
A source of concentration, A reason for meditation.
A self healing process,
Inner truth which one can access.
To raise our consciousness and achieve self awareness.
We and GOD
We do not worship idols,
We worship OUR souls for our survival.
we respect ourselves most,
Then why say “God” is uppermost
Be Honest and show your purity,
And make efforts to reach sublimity.
Impress through your work and creations,
Rather than begging and taking obligations.
We say god is with us all the time,
But this shield is not there when we do crime.
We say we are afraid of him,
But still indulge in bribe.
This dichotomy will no more thrive
Majestic may be our recitation of prayers,
but our karma will only make us a winner.
Thus, Listen to your body, mind and soul,
That’s how some peace can be found.

PARENTS
Parents are the gift of nature, gems who help us nurture,
They make us walk to reach our destinations,
They make us create to grow our imaginations,
They give us strength to face the world,
An urge to fly when our wings are curled,
In the wheel of life they show us the way the survive,
And ensure that destiny will soon arrive,
A tear in our eye makes them cry
A smile on our face is what they always chase,
Dear Mom, I have learnt swim in the ocean of your love,
You have given me the best of all I deserve,
Dear Dad, I owe my success to you,
Aim to become like a hero in you.
